A&S got married last June at Yokayo Ranch in Ukiah, and their day felt like stepping into a world they created together. These two are some of the sweetest, most grounded humans, and their whole celebration reflected that energy from beginning to end.
A, the bride, is an artist, and her creativity was woven into every detail. She designed all of their stationery and signage herself, and seeing her artwork sprinkled throughout the venue made everything feel extra personal. From the welcome signs to the menus to the little touches tucked around the property, it was like walking through pieces of their story. Most impressively, the seating chart was a hand-painted box filled with a unique painting for every single guest.
Yokayo Ranch already has a warm, relaxed vibe, but A&S made it entirely their own. They skipped the traditional approach and focused on what they genuinely love. There was a full oyster bar during cocktail hour, a tarot card reader who had guests lined up nonstop, and a weed bar that kept the mellow energy flowing all evening. Fun, intentional, and completely true to who they are.
Their friends and family showed up ready to celebrate, and the whole day had that easy feeling of everyone simply enjoying being together. A&S created a wedding that looked and felt exactly like them, and that is what made it unforgettable. I loved photographing every moment of it.
If you are dreaming up a day that feels true to who you are, let this be your reminder to follow the things that feel good. Yokayo Ranch was the perfect backdrop, but it was A&S’s hearts, creativity, and their “take what you love and leave the rest” mindset that made this one stand out.
