Your photographs and film are the only things that will grow more valuable as time passes.
I'm a big believer in transparency, which is why you'll find my pricing information below. Because knowing exactly what this investment looks like matters when you're trusting someone to document the memories you’ll hold onto for the rest of your life.
I wish I could rate 10 stars or even 100+. Sara photographed and filmed our elopement. Planning an elopement in a state neither I or my husband have been SHOULD have been super nerve-racking and scary but, with Sara's help it made me feel at ease. Sara was able to offer tons of information on different sites and hike difficulty. Sara was incredibly patient and kind with us, especially since our toddler woke up sick that day. I can never thank Sara enough for capturing our special day. All of our photos and Super 8 film came out absolutely breath taking. Exactly the aesthetic I was wanting. I will never not recommend Sara and A Better Match Studios.

Yes! My 8 hour elopement packages can optionally be split up throughout the day, and this is the perfect option to get the best of both of the best times of day for epic lighting. For example, if you're eloping in Yosemite National Park, you can split your coverage and start your day with a sunrise first look at Tunnel View, and end with a sunset first dance at Taft Point. Or if you're not an early bird, you can still split your coverage to have a break for lunch, or just rest and have some alone time.
You only elope once, and getting to take advantage of the best times of day in your elopement location is such a special thing to do. (And your photos will look AMAZING in the morning and evening golden hours!)
Absolutely!!! We do prioritize couples who want to book us for both photography and videography, but we also love getting to focus on just one medium for the day too. Our pricing for videography-only is the same as our photography-only packages.
I LOVE my Canon EOS 1V. This is the very last (and the very best) professional 35mm film camera that Canon ever made. It takes EF Canon lenses, so I get to use the same lenses on this camera that I use on my modern digital Canon cameras. It's bulky and heavy, but built so well & I use it at every wedding I photograph.
A close second is my Kowa Super 66. Known as the “poor man’s Hasselblad," this Japanese medium format camera from the 60s is all manual, has a waist level viewfinder, weighs about 8lbs, and is just so fun to use.
