head due north

I’ve always been more of an observer. As an introvert, I notice the little things. How someone reaches for their partner’s hand without thinking. The deep breath before walking down the aisle. The way light moves through a space. That’s what draws me to documentary wedding photography. I believe the moments of your day are meaningful exactly as they unfold and should be captured without interruption I just document what’s already there. capturing your day exactly as it happens.

I’m also deeply sentimental. I want photos to feel like memories, not just images. That’s why I love film. The texture. The imperfections. The way it captures a moment in its truest form. It just makes sense to me. Whether I’m shooting film or digital, I’m creating something that will become a cherished piece of your history. I shoot knowing how meaningful these moments will be in 10, 20, even 50 years. My goal is for these photos to hold that same sentimental value, not just for you today, but for future you and for generations to come.

Before photography, though there wasn't much of my life that didn't involve a camera in my hands, I've always been into painting and drawing. I think that plays into how I shoot. Composition, light, color. Those things have always mattered to me. I don’t think about it too much while I’m shooting, but I know that my artistic background has shaped the way I see things.

Alongside me, my partner Ryan tags along to capture your wedding on video. His approach is just as intentional. He documents your day as it unfolds without forcing anything. Between the two of us, your wedding story is preserved in both photos and film. Each complements the other in an honest, nostalgic way.

If you’re looking for wedding photography that feels real and unposed, you’re in the right place. Let’s make something meaningful together.

Q: Do you travel outside of your travel schedule?

A: Heck yes! Our list of upcoming locations is constantly growing as we get booked for elopements & weddings!

Q: What if we want to book you for a month where you'll be in another state?

A: We typically stay in each location we travel to for about a week, so we are more than able (and totally willing!) to make it to multiple states in one month!  Last year, we photographed & filmed weddings in California, Washington, and Colorado all in one month!

Here's where we're headed in 2025. Let's meet up!

Benefits of booking based on our travel schedule:

You can book a couples session in an amazing place without paying any extra for my travel!

You can book a smaller elopement package, like the 3 hour package, which is typically only available in California, anywhere on our travel schedule!

You can book a wedding package anywhere on our list of travel locations and pay our "local" rate!

One of our favorite things in this life is getting to discover new places. From seeing new landscapes, to seeing how the locals live, to trying new foods - there are so many gorgeous places we have not been able to experience yet.

To help our goals of traveling around the world and documenting couples in beautiful places, we are offering free rehearsal dinner coverage or a free day-after session for any wedding or elopement taking place in one of our bucket list locations!

We have a ful tank of gas in our campervan and our passports are ready!
